Did You Know?

National data on the Return on Investment (ROI) for injury prevention programs highlight the financial and operational benefits of investing in injury prevention, as well as the broader impacts on workforce health and safety.

  • According to Liberty Mutual's Workplace Safety Index (2021), musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), such as strains, sprains, and repetitive motion injuries are among the top workplace injuries in the U.S. These alone cost employers more than $20 billion annually in workers' compensation claims.

  • A 2018 study published in the Journal of Safety Research highlighted that investing in ergonomic improvements such as a better workstation, proper lifting techniques, and physical conditioning resulted in a 3:1 to 4:1 ROI for companies.

  • A 2019 report from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) showed that companies investing in injury prevention measures saw a 30% reduction in injury-related costs. The ROI for these programs ranged from 2:1 to 4:1, depending on the industry and the specific intervention implementation.

  • According to the American National Standard Institute (ANSI), when injury rates decrease, worker productivity improves. The decrease in absenteeism and presenteeism (when employees are at work but not fully engaged due to pain or injury) leads to significant productivity gains.

  • A 2020 report from the National Safety Council (NSC) revealed that companies with a strong culture and injury prevention programs experienced a 15% lower turnover rate, which indirectly contributes to ROI by reducing the costs associated with recruitment and training of new employees.

ETP Update 2a FINAL AS OF 1220 (5)_edited.png

Our 3 Phase Approach

Our consultation services provide companies with tangible, thorough, and scientific strategies to prevent injury and optimize performance for athletes of every type: industrial, medical, tactical, and administrative.

Joint pain and soft tissue injuries that lead to light duty, decreased productivity, and even lost time are avoidable. Stress and burnout can also be reduced with proper programming.

ETP training systems incorporate a 3-phase training process to mitigate pain and injury, improve mental and physical wellness, and optimize performance to create a happy, dependable, and thriving workforce.

Phase 1
Resetting the
Nervous System

Although breathing is autonomic (unconscious) we can train ourselves to develop more optimal breathing patterns. Breathwork and exercises maximize inhalation, exhalation, and tempo of breathing to optimize health and performance.

Phase 2
Targeting the Connective Tissue and Fascia

Fascia is soft tissue that wraps through and around muscles, separating and connecting them allowing for full body movement. We provide strategic exercises to address fascia to ensure its adaptability, strength, and resiliency to  reduce the risk of injury.

Phase 3
Strengthening the
Muscular System

Muscles, tendons, and ligaments need consistent strengthening to be stabilized for optimal performance and to assist in injury prevention. We use two training methods to strengthen and stabilize: Ecentric training and Isometric training.
